About Us
We are a play-based preschool where students can learn and develop as unique children of God.
Here at LTOB Preschool, we have children who range in age from 2.5 years old - 5 years old mixed together in one classroom. This is intentional and beneficial to your child, whether they are 2, 3, 4, or 5 years old!
Our ‘mixed age approach’ encourages a natural, family-like environment where younger children learn from older peers, and older children develop confidence and leadership skills by helping their younger friends.
Children learn by doing, exploring, and making choices—whether building or creating, exploring in the art area or outside, or learning to play with friends. Through hands-on activities and guided play, they practice problem-solving, develop independence, and gain confidence as learners. We seek to foster child's autonomy and independence as learners and to support each child in their unqiue learning styles. To do so, our teachers play alongside children, observing, supporting, and extending their discoveries to help every child flourish. We tailor lessons to fit a variety of learners and make sure that active, play-based learning is in all that we do.
